Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

NatGas Edge is an independent data analytics platform providing natural gas market signals. For privacy matters, contact damien@natgasedge.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Email address — collected at checkout via Stripe and used to create your account and send service communications
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. NatGas Edge does not store card details. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Authentication data — managed by Clerk, which handles login sessions and identity verification. Clerk's privacy policy applies.

We do not collect usage data, browsing behaviour, or any personal data beyond email and authentication information.

3. How we use your data

• To provide and manage your subscription
• To send account-related communications — access links, billing notifications, service updates
• To verify your identity when you sign in

We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Third-party processors

NatGas Edge uses the following third-party services which process personal data on our behalf:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
• Clerk — authentication and identity. Clerk Privacy Policy
• Vercel — hosting and infrastructure. Vercel Privacy Policy

5. Cookies

NatGas Edge does not use tracking or analytics cookies. Authentication session cookies are set by Clerk solely to maintain your logged-in state. These are strictly necessary for the service to function and do not track behaviour across sites.

6. Data retention

We retain your email address and subscription status for the duration of your subscription and for a period of up to 6 months following cancellation, after which your data is deleted from our systems. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us.

7. Your rights under UK GDPR

As a UK-based service, we comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation. You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Data portability

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe under PCI DSS compliance. Authentication data is handled by Clerk. We do not store sensitive personal data on our own servers beyond your email address and subscription tier.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
